The happiest face in the world

We've been in Cornwall this week and as Connie was coming out of a cafe a waitress commented that she had the happiest face in the world. What a lovely comment. I decided I'll take a note of it.

I recently started writing little letters to the children when something happens or an event like their birthday. I say what I'm praying for and try to write encouraging things. I was fortunate enough to have a baby blessing for each of them while I was pregnant and a wonderful friend gave me a book for each one where people wrote prayers or verses in. I am continuing those books. Hopefully when they are old enough they will be a real encouragement and prophetic insight.

It's taken me a while to get into a rhythm with it so a win for Connie. I wish I'd done more when Harry was a baby but those pregnant, new born breastfeeding days are so intense! Never too late to start.
