Little wins

I had an 8.30am meeting today at work. I managed to get all kids bathed in the morning, take Sophie and Connie to nursery on the bike, bomb up the hill to work and arrive admittedly rather sweaty and out breath but on time none the less for my meeting. I proudly announced my achievement to all my colleagues!
It got me thinking it's important to celebrate the little wins like the time Harry said 'Mummy this fish pie is yummy' or when Lucy and Sophie held hands and played together at a toddler group after weeks of fighting. I wrote this in Feb and still have it in my keep notes 'Yesterday was a triumph with Lucy and Sophie holding hands, singing together being best friends. It is possible! '
I think celebrating sometimes seemingly insignificant moments helps counteract moments which are not going so well or sweeping statements you sometimes think like 'no one ever likes my food' or 'the girls never get on'.
Hopefully you find something to celebrate today no matter how small!
